ALE has lifted modules weighing up to 300 tonnes during the construction of a steel mill plant in Silao, Mexico.

Throughout January, ALE lifted several items at the project site, including roof panels and plant modules, using a 1,350-tonne capacity LR 11350 crawler crane.

The crane was configured with a P boom, which ALE said minimised congestion on site thanks to its small footprint. This in turn minimised disruption to the overall construction schedule and saved time and costs, according to ALE.
