Boskalis secures LNG contract

Royal Boskalis Westminster has been awarded a transportation contract that will see the Dutch shipping company deliver a number of large modules for a North American LNG export facility.

Boskalis’ scope of work includes the transportation of various large modules from a fabrication yard in China to the facility in North America. For the project, Boskalis will deploy two open-stern heavy transport vessels, which will be in operation from the second quarter of 2021 through to the third quarter of 2022.

According to Boskalis, the contract is valued at approximately USD55 million, with additional options for extensions worth up to USD30 million.
