CS Leasing strengthens management

July 19 - Container leasing company CARU Specialized Leasing (CS Leasing) has appointed Makoto Nose to head up operations in Asia, and named Linda Knight as marketing director based in Sydney, Australia.

Joining CS Leasing with extensive experience in the container leasing business, Nose will establish the company's new Singapore office and take immediate responsibility for the Asian region, together with oversight of global operations.

Knight, who has over 20 years of industry experience, previously served as area marketing director, Australia and New Zealand at The Cronos Group. In her new role she will focus on the New Zealand market and report to vice president of marketing David Sprod.

Meanwhile, CS Leasing has appointed Nipuna Containers - part of the VS&B Containers Group - as agent to cover the Middle East and Indian subcontinent for tanks and specialised containers.

CARU Specialized Leasing was established in September 2015 by CARU Containers, TCG (Transportation Capital Group) and a management team with over 25 years of container leasing experience. Within its container fleet, it offers 20 ft and 40 ft flat racks designed for the carriage of oversized or difficult loads that can not be carried in a standard container.
