Europatrans handles drum shipment

Europatrans, part of the EMS-Fehn-Group, has coordinated the delivery of four cable drums to a German port, ahead of delivery to a copper mine in Mongolia.

Measuring 4.8 m x 2.65 m x 3.5 m, the drums were transported from southern Germany. Each unit weighed 39 tonnes.

EMS Log, also part of the EMS-Fehn-Group, organised shipping to a port in the Baltic, where the drums will be loaded onto train wagons for the 7,000 km trip to Ulan Bator, Mongolia.

According to Europatrans, the final 350 km journey from Ulan Bator will also be completed by road.
