Harren & Partner sells CFS

Spain’s Pérez y Cía is set to acquire CFS Caribbean Feeder Services from German shipping company Harren & Partner.

CFS currently operates a fleet of 16 vessels, ranging in capacity from 700 teu to 1,400 teu, calling at 28 ports in the Caribbean.

“All of our vessels deployed in the CFS fleet will remain with CFS, ensuring their long-term use. CFS will grow even bigger and stronger together with Pérez y Cía,” explained Peter Harren, managing director of Harren & Partner.

The CFS management team will continue to be headed by ceo Tom Paelinck and operate from its offices in Miami (USA), Kingston (Jamaica) and Panama. Peter Harren will stay on the board of CFS as honorary chairman.

Following the acquisition, CFS will remain a separate brand within the Pérez y Cía group.
