Kastrup steps up at APL

APL, part of the CMA CGM Group, has appointed Lars Kastrup as ceo.

Kastrup joined CMA CGM in 2007 and most recently served as executive vice president assets, heading up CMA Terminals, CMA Ships, Container Logistics, as well the group's regional carriers including MacAndrews, Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei (OPDR) and Mercosul.

He replaces Nicolas Sartini who, as of January 1, 2019, has taken on the role of deputy ceo and chief operating officer of CEVA Logistics.

Sartini's appointment forms part of CEVA and CMA CGM’s revised strategic plan to strengthen their partnership. The plan also included the acquisition of CMA CGM’s freight management activities - CMA CGM Log.
