LGH takes Straightpoint load cells

US lifting equipment rental specialist Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) is overhauling its load cell fleet with an order for Straightpoint (SP) Radiolink plus units of up to 220,000-lb (99.8-tonne) capacity.

The new units will be delivered in a piecemeal fashion over two-three years and will result in 23 LGH rental facilities in the USA and Canada stocking exclusively SP products.

The Radiolink plus is the UK manufacturer’s top selling load cell and is capable of both weighing and dynamic load monitoring.

LGH will take a variety of models, including standard 700 m long-range wireless versions and Bluetooth units.
