Ports America names Montgomery

Ports America Group has appointed Mark Montgomery as president and ceo, replacing Michael Hassing.

Montgomery previously served as president and ceo of Ports America Chesapeake (PAC) before taking on the role of senior advisor and operating partner for the infrastructure investing strategy of Oaktree Capital Management. 

Ports America Group has also appointed Dave Starling as chairman of the board of directors. He brings more than 40 years of experience in the North American rail, intermodal and global shipping logistics industries to the role.
