Qatar Airways launches Almaty service

Qatar Airways Cargo has launched a freighter service connecting Dohar to Almaty in Kazakhstan, using a Boeing 777.

The connection will be operated twice a week, with flights leaving Doha and arriving in Almaty in the same day. The service then returns to Doha via Hong Kong.

This is the second destination that Qatar Airways has added to its network in 2019. At the beginning of the year, the air cargo carrier added Guadalajara in Mexico to its transpacific freighter route.

With the latest addition of Almaty, Qatar Airways’ freighter network in Europe and Central Asia has increased to 16 destinations.
