Bremer Lloyd wins Borkum contract

Bremer Lloyd has secured the contract to transport 96 rotor blades for the 200 MW Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farm, located in the North Sea.

The blades, measuring 76 m in length, will be loaded in Aveiro, Portugal and discharged at the port of Eemshaven, the Netherlands.

Bremer Lloyd expects to deliver the blades across 12 voyages using vessels from Symphony Shipping’s fleet.

The 10,500 dwt multipurpose vessel Symphony Spirit was chartered from Schulte & Bruns, which commercially manages the vessel for Symphony Shipping.
