Chipolbrok loads in Hamburg

Chipolbrok has loaded its heavy lift vessel Leopold Staff with a variety of over-dimensional cargoes, including power plant equipment destined for Jordan, at the C. Steinweg Terminal in Hamburg.

The power plant equipment will be shipped for Guangdong Power Engineering’s project in Jordan. Chipolbrok has previously transported steam boilers, generating units and other supplies for this project, with unit weights up to 327 tonnes.

Loading was completed on November 12; the vessel has begun its voyage along the Suez Canal to deliver the components to Aqaba, Jordan.

The Chinese-Polish carrier added that Leopold Staff will then continue to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, China and South Korea.

“The number of destination ports made it a demanding puzzle for the supercargointendant, master and chief officer to have everything at the right place on board,” said Chipolbrok.
