JSL in transformer move

JSL Global has handled the delivery of four transformers, each weighing 42 tons (38.1 tonnes), from Hamad port to one of Qatar Electricity & Water Company's project sites.

Measuring 6.6 m x 2.55 m x 3.5 m, the transformers arrived at the port on board a vessel operated by Maersk Line.

The cargoes, secured on flatracks, were subseqently loaded directly on to lowbed trailers for onward transportation to the job site.

Upon arrival at the project site, JSL Global was also responsible for the installation of the transformers using a 250-ton (226.8-tonne) capacity mobile crane.
