Germany-headquartered TII Group has seen its equipment utilised on a range of projects recently.

Estonia-headquartered Quickport Logistics utilised Scheuerle Eurocombi trailers to handle a 50 m-long column. Meanwhile, Germany-based Rostock Trans used its Scheuerle Intercombi and Ultralightcombi trailers for the transport of wind tower segments destined for the Gohlocher Wald wind farm.

In a separate project, a total of 432 Kamag K24 modular platform trailers, along with 22 PowerPack units, were used to move a 12,200-tonne oil platform.

The platform had to be transported 200 m from the production hall and positioned on a barge for onward delivery. The move went off without a hitch, despite heavy gusts of wind and rain showers, said TII Group. The platform will be positioned at the Johan Sverdrup oil field in the North Sea.
