Changes at the top for Brownsville

The port of Brownsville in the USA has appointed Lorena Hernandez as director of finance and Jose Herrera as special projects director.

Hernandez, who previously served as assistant finance director, succeeds Steve Fitzgibbons, who has retired from the port after more than five years in the role.

Herrera joins the port from the Brownsville Economic Development Council, where he served as the interim president.
