Crane Worldwide Logistics has relocated its office in Chennai, India as it prepares for growth in the region.

Led by Nimish Shah, managing director for India, the expanded facility will accommodate 25 employees; it will provide customers with a range of services including the handling of both small and large projects, as well as fragile and time-sensitive cargo.

According to Marco Nazzari, regional vice president, Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA), the new facility grows Crane Worldwide's presence in India and is in response to the growing market in Chennai.

He added: “India is an incredibly important market for us. It is the seventh-largest economy in the world and growing faster than any other large economy outside of China.”

Crane Worldwide has seven offices in India with more than 100 employees.
