A2SEA inks Horns Reef 3 contract

June 10 - A2SEA's purpose-built offshore installation vessel Sea Installer will be deployed to install 49 MHI Vestas turbines for the Horns Reef 3 offshore wind farm off the coast of Denmark.

A2SEA's vessel will receive the turbines at the Port of Esbjerg before delivering them to the wind farm, which is owned by Vattenfall and will have a capacity of 400 MW when complete.

Horns Reef 3 is an extension to the current Horns Reef 1 and 2 offshore farms, also installed by A2SEA in 2002 and 2009 respectively.
