BDP International has opened an office in Dublin, Ireland; its first location in the country.

Operations will be overseen by country manager Joe Dowling and operational manager Simon O'Callaghan.

The Dublin office will serve the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as healthcare, energy, retail and automotive sectors.

BDP says the office will offer a range of logistics services, including ocean and air export; import and export services; Customs clearance; project logistics; ground transport; as well as warehousing and distribution.

"By bolstering BDP's presence in Ireland, we are better equipped to service high-value customers in the region, providing them with our full suite of logistics services," said Bob van Buren, BDP International regional director, Northern Europe.
