Mill is no grind for HEAVY Logistics

December 31 - HEAVY Logistics, a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Belgium, recently organised a multimodal transport using 10 Goldhofer SPMT axle lines and a hired barge, to move a grinding mill from Tournai to Antwerp, Belgium.

The mill measured 13.25 m x 6.5 m x 6.65 m and weighed over 110 tonnes.

Together with HEAVY Pilots & Permits, which performed the detailed road survey and Heavy Lifting+Handling which organised the crane handling, the company says this project was clear evidence of its multidisciplinary capabilities.
