Project cargo experts demonstrate logistics solutions for renewable energy industry

April 24 - Heavy and oversize cargo network, Project Professionals Group, will showcase its international reach and expertise to the renewable energy sector during the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Exhibition in Chicago from May 4-7, 2009, with

TransGroup Worldwide Logistics (USA) will share its booth with fellow PPG members SOS Global Express, (USA), Quality Freight, Ireland & Quality Freight (UK), Lisboa Despachos (Brazil), Polytra NV (Belgium), Sahil Freight Express, Express Transport (India), and Alship Navegacao (Portugal).

PPG General Manager Kevin Stephens, who will also be attending the expo, said such a strong representation of multi-national members offered the opportunity for companies seeking transportation services a one-stop shop of experts to discuss their requirements.

"PPG members will be able to demonstrate their considerable success in the transportation of wind blades and associated equipment, and their international success meeting air, sea and road transportation needs," Mr Stephens said.

"PPG members have logistics operations offices in key locations around the world that are well placed to work together to optimise the design of transport solutions for the renewable energy industry to meet current and future requirements."
