Second brand-new B747-8F delivered to Panalpina

July 26 - The second of two brand-new Boeing 747-8 Freighters has entered scheduled service within project forwarder Panalpina's air freight network. The aircraft, in Panalpina livery, was delivered to Atlas Air, at Boeing's manufacturing facility in Ever

Its inaugural flight for Panalpina was a service to Luxembourg via London Stansted in the UK. Just under a year ago, Panalpina and Atlas Air, a leading global provider of outsourced aircraft and aviation operating services, signed a wet-lease agreement for two Boeing 747-8 Freighters (pictured below) to replace two previous generation 747-400 Freighters. The first aircraft was handed over to Panalpina end of May.
