Heavy Lift Across the World

WWPC members join forces

November 22 - Holleman Bulgaria and Germany's LS International Cargo combined forces to transport oversized tanks from Plovdiv to the Port of Burgas, Bulgaria.

The project involved the transportation of five tanks, the largest measuring 5.2 m in height and 5.15 m in width, using two of Holleman's lowbed trailers.

The overland transport required route surveys, the removal of street furniture and the crossing of railways. A police escort accompanied the convoy along the route.

According to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), of which both Holleman and LS International Cargo are members, the second leg of the transport was along inland waterways in Russia.
