Zagrebtrans handles transformer for South Africa

October 30 - Croatian heavy lift transport specialist, Zagrebtrans has successfully handled the shipment of a 500 MVA transformer from Zagreb through Port Rijeka to South Africa.

The company used two MAN 33.604 trucks and a 24-axle Scheuerle trailer with a bridge for the transport of high and heavy cargo.

The transformer was 230 tonnes in weight and the total length of the transport components was 73 metres.
