Intermarine names VSH in Guyana

Intermarine has appointed VSH-United as its commercial representative in Guyana.

According to Intermarine, the partnership with VSH Guyana strengthens its local customer service with face-to-face support in the same time zone.

The project, breakbulk and heavy lift cargo carrier has worked with VSH Group for more than ten years on its regular liner service to Guyana and Suriname.

"Intermarine has been a strong supporter of the mining, oil and gas, and power sectors in Guyana for more than 20 years. We have close connections in the area and are well aware that the market in Guyana is rapidly changing," said Richard Seeg, Intermarine vice president - South America.

Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) will remain as port agent.
