HLPFI's Barnes scoops Newcomer gong

December 13 - International freight networking group, the Seahorse Club, presented HLPFI staff writer Sophie Barnes with the prestigious Newcomer of the Year award, at yesterday's Journalists Awards.

Sophie scooped the hotly contested award, which was sponsored by the TT Club, for her work focusing on the development of the renewable energy industry in the Middle East.

Congratulations are also in order for HLPFI correspondent Felicity Landon, who secured the Innovation Journalist of the Year award. Felicity's winning piece analysed the development of blockchain technology and its application in the supply chain, and was published in Port Strategy.
