Sarens opens Russian depot

In order to support the regional oil and gas sector, Sarens has opened a crane depot in Tyumen, Russia.

The facility will stock rough-terrain cranes ranging in capacity from 60-80 tonnes. Initially the depot will supply small cranes on a rental basis.

Located on the Tura River, approximately 2,500 km east of Moscow, Tyumen serves as an important service centre for the oil and gas industries in West Siberia, said Sarens.

The Belgium-headquartered company added that it is also planning on establishing a new business entity in Tyumen.
