AAL in Korean first

September 9 - AAL has opened its first office in Seoul, South Korea, a market that the breakbulk and heavy lift shipping line has served for 20 years, appointing a representative in the country in 2005.

AAL's deputy managing director and chief representative in the North Asia region, Wolfgang Harms, commented that establishing AAL Korea was the next step for the company and that he sees great potential in the country within a large number of industries.

"Korea is a pivotal Asian market for our global clients," added Jae Hong Kim, representative director of AAL Korea.
