October 5 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has added a third weekly service from Munich, Germany.

Operated by one of ABC's 18 Boeing 747 freighters, the service will connect southern Germany with 12 destinations in six Asian countries via its hub in Moscow, Russia.

"The decision to introduce an additional flight aims to capture increasing export traffic from southern Germany, which continues to be a major industrial area in Europe and the surrounding areas as well," explained Andrey Andreev, ABC's vice president Europe.

Apart from export shipments, ABC intends to bolster import volumes to Europe via Munich, which the airline says will enable it to provide a faster and better inland service.
