Abu Nasir opts for new Terex

May 27 - Abu Dhabi-based Abu Nasir General Transport has taken delivery of a Terex AC 100/4L all-terrain crane.

The new crane joins Abu Nasir's existing fleet of Terex cranes, which range in lifting capacity from 80 to 500 tonnes.

"We chose this machine for its quality and performance," said the company's operations manager, Asif Salim. "At just 2.55 m wide, it's also the most compact machine in its class, which is extremely important when working in the confined spaces of the oil and gas sector."

With a capacity of 100 tonnes, maximum boom length of 59.4 m and system length of 81.7 m, the AC 100/4L crane will be used throughout the UAE for complex lifts in the oil and gas industry.

"This latest crane from Terex is also easy to operate and provides a high level of comfort, visibility and information for the operator, in addition to being the most flexible with the longest boom extensions," added Salim.
