January 4 - Air Charter Service's (ACS) offices in Dubai, UAE and Los Angeles, USA are set to achieve record 2015 financial years.

The Dubai office has already arranged more charters in 2015 than any of its previous ten years, said ACS.

"We have already beaten our record year in terms of number of charters, with still more than one month left in our financial year [Jan 31, 2016]. Revenue is also currently up almost 15 percent year-on-year, so we are hoping to continue this until the end of the financial year," said ACS Middle East managing director Andrew Summers.

He added that the office also increased its staff numbers by almost 30 percent in 2015.

Over on the west coast of the USA, Thomas Howe, president of ACS' Los Angeles operation, commented: "Our revenue is 12 percent up year-on-year and we have chartered more flights than last year already. Since the start of our financial year (February 1, 2015) we have added five new staff to the office."

He added: "The West Coast port shutdown gave us a flying start to the year. We arranged many charters ourselves, as well as helping to coordinate our Hong Kong office's charters this end."
