Agility grows in 2012

April 2 - Kuwait headquartered global logistics provider Agility has released its full year financial results for 2012.

For the full year ending December 31, 2012, Agility recorded net profit of KD34.4 million (USD120.5 million)- a 27 percent improvement over FY 2011. Revenue for the 2012 trading period stood at KD1.4 billion (USD4.91 billion), a seven percent year-on-year boost over 2011.

According to Tarek Sultan, Agility's chairman and md: "In 2012, we continued to improve profitability, invested strategically in the business and maintained a healthy balance sheet. All this is impressive in light of the fact that the global economy was - and continues to be - weak."
