June 16 - Rotterdam based law firm AKD has strengthened its position in the shipping and offshore sector with the addition of Pieter den Haan and Vivian van der Kuil to its transport and energy team.
Den Haan joins AKD as a partner in the transport and energy team from July 1. Van der Kuil joins the team as a senior associate.
Den Haan specialises in handling maritime casualties, with particular expertise in major collision cases, salvage and wreck removal, and insurance disputes; while van der Kuil specialises in transport law, with a particular focus on maritime law.
