For the height increase of six metres , ALE used a lifting gantry with a height capacity of 18 m and 4,500 tonne lift capacity HLS-5000 strand lift units.
The lifting gantry comprised of two transversal, self-stabilising frames, which were connected by 4 x 21.5 m main beams that supported the lifting units. For longitudinal stability, ALE installed two additional stability legs with structures connected to the base of the 100 tonne counter weight.
