Allison executes lifeboat project

September 27 - USA headquartered Allison Shipping International recently trucked an out-of-gauge lifeboat between California and Houston, Texas.

The boat was then loaded onto a 40 ft flat rack before being shipped to Cork in Ireland. The lifeboat, which measures 7.1 m x 5.1 m x 4.4 m and weighed almost 5 tonnes, will be used to supply an offshore energy plant.
