APL launches NAS

December 13 - APL has launched the North Atlantic Service (NAS), connecting major north European markets and the US East Coast.

Cargo from London to New York will be delivered in 12 days, while shipments from Le Havre to Miami will arrive in 13 days, says APL.

The service will commence on January 3, 2018 with the following port rotation: Zeebrugge, London, Rotterdam, Dunkerque, Le Havre, New York, Savannah, Miami, Savannah, Philadelphia and Zeebrugge.

APL, part of the CMA CGM group, has special cargo handling facilities and equipment to support project and heavy shipments.
