Aqualis heads to South Korea

July 2 - In response to increased demand for Aqualis Offshore's services, the offshore marine and engineering company is to open an office in Busan, South Korea. Mr Gang-Yeoung Jeong is to be appointed general manager, writes Isabel Freedman.

Phil Lenox, director - Asia Pacific, Aqualis Offshore, described the new office as a "logical expansion" following "an increasing number of work requests from oil services companies, rig operators and offshore construction yards in South Korea." Lenox also commented that this development will enable Aqualis Offshore "to provide the best possible local support to our clients."

The Busan office will offer Aqualis Offshore's full range of services, although it will initially focus on dynamic positioning consultancy, transportation and installation, marine warranty and construction supervision.
