Aqualis names Middle East head

August 30 - Marine and offshore engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore has appointed Ben Lazenby as director of its Middle East operation.

Previously serving as regional marine director for Aqualis in Dubai, Lazenby succeeds Reuben Segal, who will now concentrate fully on his role as chief operating officer of Aqualis Offshore.

Lazenby is a master mariner with 25 years of experience in the maritime offshore industry. His specialist areas of competence are marine operations, rig moving and marine warranty.

He will be based in Dubai, but will oversee the operations of the company's other offices in the region.
