May 7 - Van der Vlist has transported a 41-tonne bearing frame from Hamburg to a hydro-electric power station in the extreme north of Norway, 150 km into the Arctic Circle.

A three-axle truck and five-axle trailer departed Van der Vlist's Polish facility to collect the 4.6 m wide bearing frame from Germany.

Spiked chains were placed on the wheels of both the truck and trailer to cope with the conditions, and a private escort was arranged as well as two police vehicles in Sweden and Norway.

At the destination, Van der Vlist had to deliver the consigment inside a mountain where the power station was located in order to offload the frame and replace the old one.
