September 11 - The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) has appointed Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Omar as its new chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2014.
Al-Omar replaces Mohammad Omair Al-Otaibi, who was appointed acting ceo last month, after July, 2014 saw Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser step down from the post.
Al-Jasser has since been appointed director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines.
