Batten joins Coyne

June 7 - John Batten has been named the new managing director of UK headquartered all-cargo carrier Coyne Airways.

Batten will leave his role as executive vice president cargo services at ground handling agent, Swissport International, on August 31, 2013. He will step into his new role during September 2013.

"John has a proven track record in our industry, and we are looking forward to him joining our team," said Coyne Airways ceo and founder, Larry Coyne.

"It is exciting to be moving to Coyne Airways. There is lots of opportunity to grow the business, and I am looking forward to the challenge," said Batten.
