Krakatau Steel Nippon Sumikin (KNSS) - a JV between Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal and Indonesia's Krakatau Steel - has given the go-ahead to build a USD300 million automotive steel mill in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia.

Jacobs Engineering Group
was awarded a contract from ExxonMobil Chemical Company to provide EPC services as part of a multi-billion dollar ethane cracker project in ExxonMobil's Baytown, Texas complex.

Balfour Beatty's UK construction business secured a GBP75 million A63 Castle Street Hull improvement scheme for the Highways Agency under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) design and build contract.

VSMC has been awarded a EUR90 million contract by Sandbank Offshore Windfarm for cable supply, CPS, installation, post lay burial and termination and testing of 76 infield cables. Project execution is scheduled to start in August 2015 and will be completed by the summer of 2016.

Petrofac secured a USD500 million EPCC contract from PRPC Refinery and Cracker for a refinery package in Petronas' refinery and petrochemicals integrated development (RAPID) project in Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia.

The scope of work includes three sulphur recovery units, two amine regeneration units, two sour water-stripping units, a liquid sulphur storage units and a sulphur solidification package unit.

CB&I has been awarded a contract valued in excess of USD49 million by Oiltanking Beaumont for the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of 12 internal floating-roof crude oil storage tanks at Oiltanking's terminal in Beaumont, Texas.
