April 22 - Air Partner, a major provider of charter aircraft, reported only a slight drop in turnover in the first half (ending on January 31st 2009) of its 2008/2009 fiscal year, despite the global economic crisis.

Global sales, at GBP107.1 million, decreased by 2ompared to the same period one year previously.

David Savile, chief executive of Air Partner reports that during the first six month's the company's freight division achieved 17 percent more turnover, resulting from enhanced productivity, in a global airfreight market that shrank by 20 percent overall.
