December 13 - The second of five heavy project cargo modules, manufactured in Louisiana, was exported through the Port of New Orleans (Port Nola), in cooperation with multipurpose shipping line Intermarine and marine construction company Chet Morrison Con

The oil platform components were transported to Trinidad onboard Intermarine's Industrial Edge.

The first module, the base of an oil platform built by Chet Morrison Contractors, arrived by barge at Port Nola's Poland Avenue wharf and was transhipped directly from the barge to Intermarine's vessel by terminal operator Coastal Cargo earlier this year.

The second module, the topside deck also built by Chet Morrison Contractors, arrived by barge at the Harmony Street wharf and was also transhipped directly from the barge to the vessel by Coastal Cargo last month.

According to Port Nola, the next pieces will commence loading in March 2018.
