December 2 - The Project Cargo Network (PCN) has its second official member in Brazil following the approval Cargofast Logistics do Brasil Ltda's application.

The company employs a specialist team in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo and, having launched in 2008, has established a strong presence in the Brazilian market.

Cargofast says its management team has over 30 years of combined experience in all facets of freight forwarding with a particular niche in project and breakbulk services.

International logistics and pricing director, Rogerio Fadigas, said on joining PCN: "Our expertise lies in special project and heavy equipment shipments.

"We provide services for overweight loads, over dimensional loads, container stuffing, all the permits necessary to deliver the cargo. Additionally we provide customs documents for these deliveries.

"We have handled sugar mill plants, mining processing plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, aluminum can lines, hotel and resort projects, pipelines, cooling towers, as well as various other manufactured cargoes throughout the world.

"We're sure that our PCN membership will provide the right partners, who have expertise in breakbulk-project cargoes and are able to handle our businesses properly."

In addition to Cargofast, PCN is also represented in Brazil by Double Star Logistics do Brasil Ltda.
