Coordinadora scoops Hail contract award

December 15 - Coordinadora has been awarded a transportation contract for the Hail Surface Facilities EPS project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Coordinadora will be responsible for moving a total of 46 units, including piperacks and prefabricated buildings, for the modular offshore project.

The oversize cargoes - all of which will weigh around 200 tonnes and measure up to 33.5 m long by 12.5 m wide and 14.5 m high - will be manufactured at a facility in Mussafah, before being transported to the construction sites on the islands of Mubarraz and Hail.

HLPFI reported in October that Coordinadora had opened a new office in Abu Dhabi.

The Hail Surface Facilities EPS project is part of the development of Abu Dhabi's Hail offshore oilfield development. Last year, Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADOC) awarded the contract for the field's early production facilities to Técnicas Reunidas.
