June 6 - 20,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors will gather in Canada's energy capital, Calgary, next week for the 2013 Gas and Oil Expo.

Rick George, the former chief executive officer of Suncor Energy, will open the exhibition and conference. During the three-day event, speakers will explore the future of heavy oil and extra heavy oil projects in Canada, and will seek to assess the impact on such projects of the global economic crisis.
 
A number of transport and logistics specialists have taken space in the sold-out exhibition hall. They include Albacor Shipping, ATS Logistics Services, DB Schenker, Lynden Transport and Totran Transportation Services.
