December 28 - Jacksonville-headquartered Crowley Maritime Corporation has announced more organisational changes within its shipping and logistics team.

Nelly Yunta has been appointed vice president of sales, marketing and customer care and will relocate to Jacksonville. Yunta most recently held the position of vice president of Customized Brokers - Crowley's Miami-based Customs brokerage subsidiary - and in her new role will continue to oversee this operation.

Pete Noyer has been promoted to vice president of national accounts. Noyer will leave his current role as vice president of business development for shipping and logistics and will report directly to Yunta.

Former vice president of national accounts, Charlie Dominguez, will move into a sales consulting position at Crowley after 29 years of service. His new role will remain in Jacksonville and will focus on maintaining and growing Crowley's top 300 commercial shipping and logistics accounts in Latin America, the Caribbean and Puerto Rico.

Tim Quirk, most recently director of pricing, will assume Noyer's business development function. He will be responsible for handling Crowley's Northeast, Midwest and inside sales accounts.

The management realignment will be effective as of January 1, 2013.
