August 2 - ALE's joint venture in Canada, ALE Roll-Lift, has transported a 258-tonne crystalliser for JNE Welding and Veolia Water Solutions in Saskatchewan.

The crystalliser was transported 350 km from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to the K+S Legacy project site near Bethune, Saskatchewan, using 24 axle-lines of modular trailers.

ALE worked with the Saskatchewan government's bridge division to gain approval to cross over the Outlook Bridge. At 285 tonnes, ALE says the crystalliser was one of the largest components to ever cross the bridge which spans the South Saskatchewan river.

The crystalliser, when loaded on the trailers, had a height of 11.8 m and an overall width of 9.9 m.
