Davies Turner names senior managers

July 23 - Leading UK independent freight and logistics company, Davies Turner, has announced four senior management appointments within its two main trading subsidiaries.

Alan Williams, previously director at the company's Dartford hub, has become national sales and marketing director for Davies Turner & Co, responsible for developing the group's logistics, overland and ocean freight operations.

Replacing Williams as director at Dartford is Edward Stephenson. A graduate of Davies Turner's apprenticeship scheme, he was previously one of the company's business systems analysts.

Following the retirement of Mike Dean at Davies Turner's Birmingham hub, Emily Stephenson becomes director responsible for the Midlands hub which is now the largest in the Group.

Emily has a Masters degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University and heads up an experienced management team in both freight forwarding and 3PL logistics.

At Davies Turner Air Cargo (DTAC) James Wheatley has been promoted to sales director.
