Ekin in Georgian transformation

July 27 - Ekin Heavy & Project Cargo Transportation has delivered seven transformers 2,000 km overland from Turkey to Georgia.

Four of the transformers weighed 125 tonnes and measured 7 m x 4.1 m x 4.27 m, while the remaining three weighed in at 83 tonnes with the dimensions 5.6 m x 3.25 x 4.68 m.

In addition to the road transport, Ekin organised permits and escorts for the journey and arranged various road modifications en route to prepare for the oversize transport.

On arrival at the site, Ekin unloaded the seven transformers using a jack and slide system.

Ekin is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Turkey.
