March 23 - Express Global Logistics (EXG) has coordinated the shipment of a 75-tonne gearbox to Mumbai port for shipment to Jebel Ali, UAE.
The gearbox, which measured 4.2 m x 4 m x 3.5 m, was transported overland from a site in Mumbai to the port, where EXG explained that it had less than 12 hours to complete the port handling, lashing and securing of the cargo on a Mafi trailer.
The unit was then loaded onto a ro-ro vessel for shipment to the UAE.
EXG is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India.
